On Monday, May 15, Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, Vice Mayor Pro Tem Martha Castex Tatem and other local leaders will hold a press conference at 711 Millby Street, one of the most frequently blocked rail crossings in Texas, to highlight the need to address blocked rail crossings in communities and pass federal rail safety legislation.
